Martínez-Echevarría has advised FOSSA Systems on a new funding round of approximately €9.25 million, a transaction that will enable the company to accelerate the deployment of its secure satellite communications network and further strengthen its international expansion.
The transaction was led by the firm's Corporate, M&A and Venture Capital team in Madrid, comprising Óscar Murillo Sanz, Carlos J. Herrera López, Patricia Sánchez Aguilar, Miguel Muñoz Mejías and Diego Rodríguez Ramírez, who advised the company and its founding team throughout every stage of the transaction.
This latest deal further reinforces the long-standing relationship of trust between Martínez-Echevarría and FOSSA Systems, with the firm having provided legal advice to the company throughout various stages of its corporate development. FOSSA Systems has established itself as one of Spain's leading players in the space and satellite IoT communications sector, developing proprietary technology with applications across strategic industries including logistics, energy, agriculture, security and defence.
