The firm has reached a service agreement with the Women's Professional Football League that will focus on advising and developing regulatory compliance and sporting integrity matters. Gonzalo Jiménez - coordinating partner of the Sports Law team - will be in charge of structuring and developing the entire regulatory compliance process, both in the general framework and submissions to national and international sporting regulations. This agreement will also cover various legal aspects essential for the growth and strengthening of the organisation. In a period of remarkable expansion of women's sport, this collaboration underlines the commitment and the need of sports entities for specialised advice and while football tends to focus the spotlight on sport, women's sport is an important arena for the future, and the Professional Football League is the clearest example of this professionalisation.
